Afternoon Activities

African Dance:

The children listen to African music and learn to dance the African way and they will perform for the parents at an event.

Story time:

The children will be introduced to stories from around the world, they will learn to tell them themselves and answer questions, to play them and to combine them with art activities.

Music and movement:

A fun combination of exercises for body control with a musical background.


Patrick and his team are coming to Lasona and the children exercise from warm up to jumping, do somersaults and handstands and stretching in the end.


The children are introduced to use chopping boards, knifes and learn the rules in the kitchen. They cook simple dishes mainly with vegetables, they bake and prepare salads.

Young farmers:

There is a lot of work in our garden and the children plant, weed and harvest different vegetables. They also do craftwork with natural materials or cook in our muddy corner.

Role play:

Imaginative play is very important for children and in this activity they do. There are different set ups like restaurant, doctor, car wash and many more.


The children are introduced to use tools like hammer, saw, hand wood drill at our work bench. They also learn how to use carving knifes.
