Preschool

In preschool class, the children get prepared for later school life by being introduced to various activities that enable them ;think, reason, make decisions, gain confidence, concentrate, problem solve, express themselves and appreciate others as they work in groups.
In numeracy they count, identify numbers, add and subtract using materials that help them in logical thinking.
In language, they learn the letters A-Z sounds and phonetics that help in building their vocabulary by using sandpaper letters and Bob books.
During the school year, they will use Montessori materials that help in visual discrimination allowing the children to identify and recognize the likeness and differences of shapes/forms, colours and position of objects, people and printed worksheets. The materials are also hands on enabling them gain pencil grip in preparation for writing.
